A Little Help Here Please!

We all know about George W. Bush's pricey war budget, but why aren't we doing anything about it? There are more important issues happening in our very own country. My understanding of the President's duty is to protect the people of the country. Where is help when we (the USA) need it; particularly Southern California?...

Fires are continuing to burn into the forth day of blazing hell across Southern California. Over 10,000 firefighters are on the scene doing what they can to save lives and homes. 500,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes. It is the largest evacuation in California recorded history.

Thank you Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for stepping up to acknowledge REAL problems. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger had asked Bush to "upgrade" the level of severity to a "major disaster" to recognize that more help is needed to contain these fires. Federal help is needed!

Gore Shares Peace Prize for Climate Change Work...

Friday, October 12, 2007 Al Gore and The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations network of scientists had accepted the Nobel Peace Prize.

Efforts put forth by Al Gore and the United Nations panel have acknowledged that "human activity" is "very likely" to be the responsible party for contributing to Global Warming that has taken effect over the past 50 years. This is just the start of a historical great change that needs to take effect. It is everyone's duty to help sustain the world we live in. It takes small efforts on everyone's part to work towards a better environment for tomorrow. Start today! What will you do today to save our planet?
