We all know about George W. Bush's pricey war budget, but why aren't we doing anything about it? There are more important issues happening in our very own country. My understanding of the President's duty is to protect the people of the country. Where is help when we (the USA) need it; particularly Southern California?...
Fires are continuing to burn into the forth day of blazing hell across Southern California. Over 10,000 firefighters are on the scene doing what they can to save lives and homes. 500,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes. It is the largest evacuation in California recorded history.
Thank you Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for stepping up to acknowledge REAL problems. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger had asked Bush to "upgrade" the level of severity to a "major disaster" to recognize that more help is needed to contain these fires. Federal help is needed!
